Abstract

Biodeterioration and biodegradation are important research topics with a range of relevance to our society for both protection of the cultural heritage to environmental pollution control and bioremediation. The constant increase in the number of manuscripts received and published, more importantly the high quality, is a very strong evidence for the success of this journal in this unique research area. At this journal, both originality of research and innovation are emphasized to attract new submission of manuscripts to advance our current knowledge of understanding and technological development to serve our society for a better preservation of the cultural heritage and also for environmental degradation and remediation for the future generations. It is mostly important to emphasize more on in-depth research results and also mechanism level data to advance the science and technology by this journal. The philosophy of continuity will be the core value of this journal with reinforcement by new in-depth research and development to strengthen the journal.
