Abstract

An experimental investigation on the two-stage pulse tube refrigeration with binary components of helium and hydrogen mixtures is presented. With the optimized valves at 20 K, the maximum gains in cooling power of 25% and COP of 31% at helium molar fraction 40% have been obtained near 20 K in the experiment.
