Abstract
The importance of Josephson device for simultaneous time and energy detection was discussed. A detection device for simultaneous measurement of energy and impact time was developed for use in time-of-flight mass spectroscopy. The device was made by two superconducting tunnel junctions, coupled through a passive network. The feasibility of the detection scheme in mass spectrometry was presented.
