Fourier-space imaging in nonlinear photonic lattices

Abstract

We introduce the novel experimental technique of Fourier space imaging in a nonlinear photonic lattice, allowing such applications as Brillouin zone spectroscopy. The resulting mapping is a combination of linear Bragg reflection and nonlinear focusing effects.
