Overview

Dr Haijin Zhu obtained his PhD from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010 with Professor Dujin Wang. He then carried out research across multiple countries and institutions including Max-Planck Institute for Polymer (Mainz Germany), Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands), Deakin University (Australia), University of the Basque Country (San Sebastian Spain) and CSIRO (Australia). He is an experienced NMR spectroscopy expert and has intensive experiences in electrochemistry, polymer materials, as well as fuel cell and water electrolysis technologies. He has published over 120 SCI papers to date and has an H-index of 30 (as of Feb 2023).

In March 2023 he joined GTIIT as an associate professor leading a research group with main focus on the development of next-generation energy storage and conversion materials and technologies.
