Incoherent solitons in effectively-instantaneous nonlocal nonlinear media

Abstract

We demonstrate incoherent spatial solitons in effectively instantaneous nonlocal nonlinear-media. This new kind of "ensemble-averaged solitons" has profound new features (e.g., random soliton's deflection) making it different than all previously-observed coherent and incoherent solitons.
