Absorption characterization of aerosols by cavity ringdown technique

Abstract

Cavity ring-down laser absorption spectroscopy was applied for aerosols measurements. Sensitive detection of a variety of aerosols under ambient conditions was achieved. An absorption band was observed for dye aerosols, which indicates the possibility of selective analysis.
